Located in a peaceful landscape Forte dei MarmiItaly, Villa Apua designed by PAN Architetti emerges as a masterful combination of contemporary architecture and refined art curation. With water as the defining element of the beach housingarchitects are involved antonioloupi from the very beginning in the design process, the company relies on a high level of customized solutions. The collaboration resulted in a 270 square meter home that serves not only as an oasis of calm, but also as a gallery for the owners’ art collection, where Antoniolupi’s bespoke furniture plays an important role in the fusion of art, nature and architecture.

PAN Architetti worked closely with antoniolupi to ensure that each piece contributes to a cohesive and luxurious environment. Known for his expertise in working with premium materials Italian brand brings his design knowledge beyond the bathroom to enhance the spacious living spaces of Villa Apua; Its flexibility and rich material palette allowed architects adapting every detail to complement the Villa’s natural character and the owners’ artistic vision, turning it into both a private oasis and an art gallery.

The water effect is immediately apparent upon entering Villa Apua. The spacious living area is designed to access the garden and pool, with oversized glass doors and height blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. The Antoniolupi collections are prominently positioned, with each piece selected to enhance the home’s connection with its surrounding landscape. The FOX panel from the Atelier_Living collection anchors the living area, while the presence of water is echoed in the fluid lines of the LOLLA chair, with the sharp geometry of the OLIVER sofa – both designed by Carlo Colombo for antoniolupi. Marble coffee tables from the ORBIT line, designed by AL_Studio, complete the composition.

The kitchen continues this harmonious narrative with the central “Wing” table, created by Tuscan designer Marco Guazzini using Marwoolus®, which creates a material and chromatic connection between the interior and the garden. Reflecting the client’s vision to integrate the home with the rich artistic and cultural heritage of the Versilia region, works by local artists and designers are displayed throughout the villa. Including the photograph “Rocinano Solvay III” by Massimo Vitali, the sculpture “The Red Side” by Massimiliano Pelletti and the Carrara marble and steel sculpture “Leg #12” by the Armenian sculptor Mikael Ohanjayan, this complete work of art, among the living rooms , sleep and the environment create a unified dialogue.

Positioned for privacy and relaxation, the master bedroom showcases Antoniolupi’s DUNE bathtub by Mario Ferrarini as a focal point of the bathroom. Characterized by the use of oak and travertine, this space provides a tranquil retreat with views of the intimate courtyard. antoniolup design INTROVERSO sculptural wash basin in white Carrara marble by Paolo Ulian and COLLAGE mirrors by Luca Galofaro further enrich the master bathroom, integrating artistic elements into a luxurious setting.

On the ground floor of Villa Apua is the remaining family bedroom, where two suites bathed in sunlight offer panoramic views of the garden, the horizon and the sea. These rooms complement the home’s color and material palette with the first bedroom featuring an ANIMA LIQUIDA LIVING bozer/container system that serves as a backdrop for Carlo Colombo’s CHARLIE bed, alongside ROMA marble tables and a LOLLA chair in a matching fabric. .
The white Carrara marble bathroom balances the sculptural elements such as the FILORIGO washbasin by Paolo Ulian and the ORION bathtub by Mario Ferrarini with the geometric precision of the Alpine Green marble in the boisier and the CARTESIO shower system. Every detail reflects Antoniolupi’s dedication to creating elegant and customized solutions that enhance both functionality and visual appeal.
